A Christian Outdoor Venue for Worship, Fellowship, and Recreation.
Just outside of Ashland, Alabama, nestled on a scenic 40 acre property with an 8 acre lake, Walker Ranch is a non-denominational Christian retreat and event venue designed for meaningful connection, spiritual growth, and outdoor fun. Our focus is youth groups, but also we serve the greater church in need of an outdoor venue for fellowship and activities.
At the heart of Walker Ranch is our spacious covered pavilion, accommodating up to 200 guests. It features a fully equipped kitchen with sinks, serving counters, a 48 inch electric grill, two large restrooms, with tables and chairs provided for up to 60 people.
Beyond the pavilion, guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including:

Walker Ranch is a registered 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit dedicated to serving churches, and ministries in need of a welcoming, affordable outdoor space. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered environment for rest, renewal, and relationship-building.

This spacious, rustic-style pavilion features a durable concrete floor, two restrooms, and a kitchen area with a long serving bar, sinks, cold running water, and a 48 inch stainless steel griddle — making it easy to prepare and serve meals for your group.

Whether you're planning a weekend retreat, Bible study, youth camp, or ministry gathering, the covered pavilion offers a versatile and comfortable space to teach, fellowship, worship, and entertain—rain or shine. Just beyond the pavilion, a wooden stairway leads directly to the lake and dock, providing quick access to recreation, baptisms, and lakeside fellowship. Surrounded by natural beauty and grounded in a mission to serve, the Pavilion at Walker Ranch is truly a place where Christian community and outdoor adventure come together.

At Walker Ranch, our heart is to provide a peaceful, Christ-centered environment where churches, families, and faith-based organizations can gather for rest, renewal, and spiritual growth. Our values are rooted in the foundational truths of the Christian faith, historically affirmed across many Bible-believing traditions.
We affirm the following:
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is our ultimate guide for life, faith, and purpose.
God
We believe in one eternal God—Creator of all things—who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and offers salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace. It is received by faith in Jesus Christ—not by works—and is available to anyone who calls on His name.
The Church
We believe in the global Body of Christ made up of all believers, and we value the importance of gathering for worship, encouragement, teaching, and service.

Dear church,
We on the board of Walker Ranch ministries are beyond excited to finally make available to you Walker Ranch, Ashland. It has taken many hours and many hands, but we finally invite you to come and fellowship in the great outdoors. Whether you would like to worship together, play together, or simply be together, we truly believe Walker Ranch is a place you will love at first sight. So, round up your youth, bring your bibles (and sunscreen), and we’ll see you lakeside here at the ranch!
